The best recipe for black beans
This recipe is a family favorite. We usually make it with brown rice, and chicken fiesta.

Ingredients
- 2 -12oz. cans of black beans
- 1 tsp. of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- ¼ of onion (diced)
- 1/ tsp. cumin
- Water just enough to cover the beans
Instructions
- - Drain and rinse the black beans & set aside.
- - In a 2-quart saucepan Heat oil. Sauté the onions and garlic over medium heat until soft.
- - Add the cumin, and the black beans, cover with just enough water, and bring to a boil.
- - Reduce heat to low, simmer and cook for 20-30 minutes until water is reduced and beans get thick.
