How to make spaghetti squash

Ingredients
  • 1 large spaghetti squash
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 F
  2. Cut the squash in half, lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Fill the bottom of a baking dish, with ½ inch of water, and place the cut squash face down.
  4. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until tender. (poke with a knife to test)
  5. When ready, remove from oven and let the squash cool.
  6. Using a fork, scrape out the squash pulp which looks like spaghetti.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
Notes
Spaghetti squash is our favorite way to substitute pasta.
